Designed for a non-profit organization dedicated to environmental preservation and education, the poster emphasizes that humans are the most common cause of forest fires; we are responsible for 90% of the events. By lifting the movable panel, the viewer sees the forest consumed in flames.

The true adventure and treasure of Stevenson's book and the adapted play are the events on the island. In the design, the image of the island is placed in a “transparent” treasure chest, focusing on geography rather than eye patches.

This annual film festival shows out-of-the-mainstream films to local fans. The design eroticizes the act of viewing movies, and its associated sensual pleasures.

This 16 page booklet details how women were denied the right to vote until the early 20th Century. At one point, women were permitted to work but still not allowed the right to vote. The absence of connectors in the letter forms represents the deprivation of rights, and the loss of voice.

This 44 page book centers on Woody Guthrie’s "rambling" ways, and the people and places he experienced during his travels. The book's long rectangular frames holding period imagery are meant to evoke railroad tracks. This project was awarded a Student Gold Addy at the 2015 Hampton Roads American Advertising Awards, and advanced to the district level, where it was also awarded a Student Silver Addy. This specimen book for Jonathan Hoefler's Mercury typeface family demonstrates dualities, reflecting how the typeface is designed in two different versions, display and text, and is very versatile. Comparisons are made in the book with Batman and Robin to also show this duo concept. Even though they are different, they work well together.

George Saunders' In Persuasion Nation offers short stories on themes of how people often blindly follow what modern marketing culture tells them to do. Consumers are sheep, consumed themselves. This project won a Student Silver Addy at the 2014 Hampton Roads American Advertising Awards.

This poster was designed for the final graduating review at Old Dominion University. I sought to employ the common metaphor of metamorphosis, while avoiding the literal representation of the butterfly.

Training your dog can be a fun experience, just like these related packages. One box is designed to contain three others inside, which themselves are meant to be portable treat boxes. The other, larger container is designed to contain small or medium sized dog biscuits, and has a paper mechanism to move the dog's ears.

Visitors to the museum's website are invited to explore the cosmos and have fun doing it. Photo imagery and illustrations try to provide a sense of depth, as if floating in space.

The concept assembles different pieces of Bob Dylan‘s life, and is meant to represent the fact that he has always been in flux—that is, in a constant state of change. The different shapes used throughout the website design are designed to show this constant movement dynamically. The typography is treated in a complementary manner to the other elements.

The concept explores the different parts of the zoo, which is divided into four major continents. The users are meant to feel like they are exploring the continents, and learning in depth about the animals while walking around and actually seeing them in person. 

The concept focuses on creating a box kit for fly fishing, where the users will have to find their own materials to create the fishing flies. Inside the box, there are elements that will help the users to learn how to do it, such as guide cards, containers, and tools. 

The concept focuses on the elegance of a simpler time, when the beverage was originally created. The system has an ornamental, swirling pattern as a background and a simple badge for the label to contrast with it. 

The package system is designed to work for any type of shoe lace. Presented here are three samples of the system, for heavy duty, formal, and running shoe laces. The concept uses an icon that reflects the type of shoe lace inside, with a complementary background that fits the theme.
